On Saturday morning, Global Account Representative Branden Reynolds participated in the Make A Difference Day volunteering event for Pine Manor Improvement Association in Fort Myers. The Association is a private non-profit agency that provides services to approximately 3,000 at risk children and families. Their mission is to equip, educate and empower families, individuals and children of Pine Manor for a better quality of life.

Branden joined the volunteer effort assisting with trash pick-up to beautify the area and protect local wildlife. He also helped tend to the community garden which provides free and fresh healthy food to people within the community.

“It was a beautiful day to spend time in Pine Manor helping the residents continue to improve their neighborhood,” Branden said.  “Thanks to the commitment of many people and organizations through the years, Pine Manor has become a success story we can all be proud of.

Relying heavily on volunteers and local businesses, the Pine Manor Improvement Association helps increase opportunities for homeownership, affordable rental housing, and safe, decent, sanitary  surroundings. It has led improvements in public safety and core infrastructure to promote development and increase resident involvement in neighborhood groups and activities.

“Volunteering is a great way to give back to our communities,” said Scott Smith, CEO of Global Solutions.  “Our company and employees have a long history of community service that we honor as we celebrate our company’s 20-year anniversary.”
